Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
